Girl Scouts promote four skill areas: Outdoor, Life Skills, Entrepreneurship, and S.T.E.M. (Science, technology, engineering, and math). They learn in five key ways: develops a strong sense of self; displays positive values; seeks challenges and learns from setbacks; forms and maintains healthy relationships; learns to identify and solve problems in her community. Girl Scouts continue to fill in cracks that too many fall into in life. Our society continues to appreciate the immense value such civic organizations add to our daily lives. Scouts deserve our support and they should have our respect.
